TagWerk · tagwerk.edelware.ch

Label it. Scan it. Lend it.

The asset register that lends. QR labels, a phone scan, one-message checkout and automatic due-date reminders — hosted, so there's nothing to run.

The moment it clicks

A colleague needs the good camera. They pull it off the shelf, scan the label with their phone, type their name and "until Friday," and it's theirs — no login, no ticket. Friday morning, Slack DMs them: due back today. They reply-scan to return it. You never touched a spreadsheet.

  1. Import your kit from a spreadsheet — even a Snipe-IT export; the headers map automatically.
  2. Print QR label sheets on any office printer and stick them on.
  3. Anyone scans a label to see what it is and who has it — and to borrow or return it.
  4. Power users check out in Slack: /checkout camera-01 until 2026-08-01
  5. Due-date reminders DM the borrower automatically. One asset, one open loan — enforced.

Two jobs, one tool

Hosted, nothing to run

A real register from day one — no server to set up, patch, or babysit. You get the tracking; we keep it running.

Search that finds it anyway

Misspell it, type half the name — TagWerk still finds "Dell Latitude" from "latitud". Fuzzy matching that doesn't need the exact string.

Checkout in one message

Borrow and return from Slack or straight from the phone scan. Not the twenty-click checkout of the big platforms.

Reminders that chase, so you don't

Spreadsheets don't nudge anyone. TagWerk DMs the borrower on the due date and when it's overdue.

Bring your data — and leave with it

Snipe-IT CSV import to arrive; one-click full export to leave. No lock-in, ever.

No Slack? Still works

The whole borrow/return flow runs from the QR scan page. Slack is one of two front doors, not a requirement.

Pricing

$29 per organisation / month — flat. Free up to 25 assets. 30-day trial. Unlimited people: an equipment pool has many borrowers but one buyer, so we don't charge per head.

Common questions

Why not stay on the spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet can't be scanned off the physical object, and it never chases anyone for an overdue laptop. The label and the reminder are the whole point.

We already track kit in Snipe-IT.

TagWerk imports your Snipe-IT CSV export directly — the headers map automatically — so moving over takes minutes and you keep your history. And because export is one click too, leaving later is just as easy.

Who is Edelware — will you last?

Small and focused on purpose. Everything exports in one click and imports anywhere, so you're never locked to us. See our trust page.
